After what feels like an age of waiting, it’s been announced that The Grand Tour‘s third season will premiere on Friday, January 18, 2019.
Not only that, but we’ve also been given a typically humour-filled trailer for the new season – not to mention Richard Hammond getting himself into a bit of a pickle and showing off his best I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! shout. Check it out below:

Available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, season three of The Grand Tour will witness the rubber-burning rascals Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May traverse the globe to compete in epic challenges.
Locations visited across the new series include: Sweden, Detroit, Nevada, Colombia, Mongolia, China, Scotland and… Stansted Airport.
Is there a corner of Earth these guys won’t touch?
Previously, May appeared on The One Show and was quizzed by host Matt Baker about the upcoming season’s budget.
“As little as possible,” he joked. “No, it’s about the same, I would think. It is quite an expensive show to make.
“There’s a lot of travel involved. There’s a lot of crew involved. There’s a lot of tech involved, filming in 4K. But that’s boring stuff. It’s going to look largely the same, but we’ve moved it on a bit in a way that I can’t really tell you about yet because you’re the enemy and it’s secret!”
As the start date cruises ever closer, it looks like those January blues will have to be postponed.
The Grand Tour returns January 18, 2019 on Amazon Prime.
